We will announce the preliminary results on the evening of the election day, Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of the Central Election Commission, said at a press conference today, APA reports.
The CEC Chairman noted that preliminary results are not official: “We will announce who the leading candidates are based on the preliminary results on election day. Protocols from district election commissions will reach the CEC within 2 days. After 2 days, we will announce the preliminary results based on these protocols in accordance with the Code. We are given a maximum of 20 days. After that, we will send the results to the Constitutional Court.”
