The number of candidates registered by political parties for the snap parliamentary elections has been announced, said Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of the Central Election Commission, at a press conference held today, APA reports.
The CEC Chairman stated that out of the registered candidates, 305 are representatives of 25 political parties.
Mazahir Panahov noted that although 371 of the candidates are affiliated with political parties, they have not been nominated by their parties: "In total, 676 candidates have political party affiliations."
