Today, we held a meeting with the observers from the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) as they were leaving the country, Mazahir Panahov, chairman of the Central Election Commission, said at the CEC meeting held today, APA reports.
The Chairman of the Central Election Commission addressed the statements made by those who wish to exert pressure on Azerbaijan: "The CEC is only focused on the elections. I brought this to their attention. I noted that we will carefully consider your constructive suggestions regarding the elections. However, there have been general comments. If the OSCE/ODIHR has proposals to advance the conduct of elections, we are open to it.'"
