“As of now, 46,807 local observers have been accredited to monitor the snap parliamentary elections scheduled for September 1, 2024,” Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC) announced in a meeting on Saturday, APA reports.
“Of these observers, 5,715 people were registered by CEC and another 41,092 by the constituency election commissions,” the CEC Chairman said.
According to him, 267 people from 29 international organizations and 46 countries have been accredited to observe the elections.
