The parliamentary elections held on September 1 were organized for the first time in the entire territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan and all international principles were followed, Andrey Yatskin, representative of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States said this at a press conference, APA reports.
"Our mission observed 145 elections. We observed that polling stations were opened on time and an "exit poll" was held in one polling station. Our observations show that the election legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan ensured the transparent conduct of elections in the country," he said.
