"Special attention was paid to ensuring a high level of openness and transparency in the elections to the Azerbaijani Parliament," said Rovzat Gasimov, the Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan at today’s meeting, APA reports.
He said that Azerbaijan's 16-year successful webcam experience, which is highly appreciated by international organizations, is being realized in the upcoming Milli Majlis elections as well as in all elections.
"For this purpose, web cameras have been installed in 1,000 polling stations covering the entire geography of the country. Voting day processes in polling stations will be aired live on a platform open to everyone via webcams, and interested subjects will have the opportunity to continuously observe the processes from beginning to end even during the day without going to polling stations," he concluded.
