Up to 20,000 observers have registered in connection with the presidential elections in Azerbaijan, Chairman of Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov said at the round table on "Ensuring citizens' right to vote" organized by the Central Election Commission and the Office of the Human Rights Commissioner (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
The CEC chairman said that the number of registered observers has reached 20,000: "According to the information provided by the candidates and parties, the number of observers will exceed 50,000."
