Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mazahir Panahov announced the number of international observers registered in connection with the extraordinary parliamentary elections, APA reports.
According to him, 604 international observers from 69 countries and 50 organizations have been registered.
"227 people from the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) have already been registered as observers with us. Additionally, 61 observers from the OSCE PA and 16 from the TURKPA have been accredited."
Note that the application period for international observers to monitor the parliamentary elections in all electoral districts of the Republic of Azerbaijan ended on August 22.
