"All necessary steps were taken for us to observe the election process," Iminov Odiljon, chairman of the committee of the Senate of the Republic of Uzbekistan, said at a briefing on the results of the monitoring of snap presidential elections held in Azerbaijan, APA reports.
"On the election day, we visited the polling stations with representatives of foreign countries in Shusha and Khankandi located in Garabagh region. During observation of the election process at the polling stations, we saw that everything was in order. I should especially underline that young people who voted for the first time were very active, because they were also voting for their future. The election process took place in an open and transparent manner," he added.
