"All the necessary conditions have been created for holding the elections in Azerbaijan," Head of the delegation of the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic Iskander Matraimov said at a briefing on the results of the monitoring of snap presidential elections held in Azerbaijan, APA reports.
He noted that the nomination of 7 people in the presidential elections shows that there was a platform where alternative candidates existed for the voters: "Equal conditions were created for all the candidates. All possible opportunities for campaigning were provided to every candidate, including those presenting their candidacy. The conditions stated in international standards were observed in the election process. Conditions were created for citizens living abroad, and the voting right of those who couldn't leave their homes was ensured."
Matraimov wished peace to Azerbaijan: "Let there be no more war in Azerbaijan."
