The appeals from candidates in the 22nd Nasimi-Yasamal, 31st Surakhani Second, and 78th Lankaran village constituencies are being investigated, Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mazahir Panahov said at a CEC meeting held today, APA reports.
CEC Chairman stated that the investigations have begun today: "Anyone who wishes may be invited to the investigation. On September 11, we will be able to review the results of the appeals received from the 22nd Nasimi-Yasamal and 78th Lankaran village Constituencies. The last day for reviewing the appeal from the 31st Surakhani Second Constituency is September 12. We will strive to address the appeal. I would like to inform the parties that facts are required. We will make our decision based on the facts."
Mazahir Panahov also noted that the Central Election Commission will probably receive appeals from today: "We will make an effort to look through these appeals before the time is up."
