The deadline for submitting applications to the Central Election Commission for monitoring in all electoral districts of the Republic of Azerbaijan ends next week, APA reports.
According to Articles 1.1.19, 1.1.20, 40.4–40.6, and 44 of the Electoral Code, citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan with active voting rights and international (foreign) observers (after registering with the Central Election Commission as required by law) must submit their applications to the Central Election Commission to observe in all electoral districts of the Republic of Azerbaijan from the day the Order on the election is officially published until 10 days before the election day.
For the snap parliamentary elections, this period covers until August 22.
