The Central Election Commission (CEC) has registered the candidacies of Gudrat Hasanguliyev, Fazil Mustafa, Elshad Musayev, and Fuad Aliyev for the presidential election, the decision was made at the CEC meeting held today.
With this, the number of registered candidates for the presidency has reached 7.
Earlier, at the CEC meeting held on December 30, 2023, the candidacy of Ilham Aliyev, Zahid Oruj, and Razi Nurullayev for the presidency was registered on January 8 of this year.
Thus, 7 candidates will jostle for the extraordinary presidential elections.
It should be noted that the candidacy of 17 people for the presidency was confirmed.
