The number of registered international media representatives regarding the extraordinary parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan has been announced, Mazahir Panahov, the Chairman of the Central Election Commission said at a press conference held today, APA reports.

Note that a total of 990 candidates are running in the elections, and all necessary conditions for a free and fair campaign were provided in accordance with legal requirements. Over 600 international observers and more than 112,000 local observers are monitoring the elections. Additionally, webcams have been installed at 1,000 polling stations nationwide to allow for live and continuous observation of the voting process.
Voting will end at 19:00.
The Elections' Information Center of the Central Election Commission Secretariat will provide preliminary information about the progress and results of the voting at 10:00, 12:00, 15:00, 17:00, and 19:00. The information received about the progress and results of the voting is considered preliminary and has no legal significance.
