The fire that broke out in a spare fuel tank park at a fuel station near the city of Khankandi was put out shortly by the forces of State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of the Republic of Azerbaijan sent to the area on September 26, 2023, the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan said, APA reports.
It was noted that due to the incident, in order to carry out search and rescue and other necessary security measures in the area, on September 27, 2023, the next 10 special purpose vehicles of the Ministry of Emergency Situations with a staff of 50 people were sent along the Aghdam-Asgaran-Khankandi road, and they are already carrying out the relevant work.
