The Social Research Center has conducted regular surveys among the population in order to know the public opinion regarding the peace perspectives between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the Center told APA.
Based on the results of the next opinion survey conducted in November of the current year, 78.5% of the respondents answered “Yes, I support” and 20.2% answered “No, I don’t support” to the “Do you support the signing of the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia?” question. 1.3% of them had difficulty stating their opinions.
Among the respondents, 42.8% of men and 31.6% of women stated that they absolutely believe in the signing of the peace agreement in the near future, 27.3% of men and 32.1% of women stated that they mainly believe in this.
The surveys were conducted among 390 respondents above the age of 18, on November 25-28, 2023, using the Computer Assisted Telephone Interview (CATI).
Anonymity was guaranteed during the surveys. The respondents were informed about the survey being conducted on the basis of voluntary participation and the results being used only in a generalized form. According to the number of the respondents covered by the survey, the margin of error for the results is 5% in the 95% confidence interval.
