The media reported that Ramiz Mehdiyev, the former head of the Presidential Administration and the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, intended to carry out a coup d’état in Azerbaijan and sent a letter in this regard to the heads of certain Russian structures.
It was also reported that the letter came into the possession of the special security services of Azerbaijan.
Although some claimed that such a letter did not exist and said they did not believe in its existence, the fact we present shows that Ramiz Mehdiyev indeed entertained the illusion of realizing a plan to carry out a coup d’état in Azerbaijan with the help of a foreign country.
