The 44-day Patriotic War was the rightful struggle of Azerbaijan, which President Ilham Aliyev underlined in his speeches during that period and after, that Azerbaijan did not engage in any provocation and conducted its policy openly, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov said as he addressed a conference themed "20 years of unparalleled service to the country, people and statehood" dedicated to the 20th anniversary of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev's presidency, APA reports.
“President Ilham Aliyev's policy has always included the principle of justice," the minister said.
FM Bayramov noted that after the great victory of the courageous Azerbaijani Army and the recent local anti-terrorist measures under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan has restored its sovereign territory.
