A conference themed "20 years of unparalleled service to the country, people and statehood" dedicated to the 20th anniversary of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev's presidency has been held in Baku, APA reports.
The event participants include Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Ali Asadov, deputy prime ministers, as well as other state and government officials.
Addressing the event, Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Ali Asadov gave detailed information about the activities of President Ilham Aliyev during his 20-year presidency. Head of the Presidential Administration Samir Nuriyev touched upon the important points regarding the return to the territories liberated from occupation. According to Samir Nuriyev, by the end of this year, more than 5,000 people are scheduled to be relocated to the liberated territories.
Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov expressed his confidence that peace will be established in the region as a continuation of the successful foreign policy pursued President Ilham Aliyev. Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Sahil Babayev pointed out the issue of state care provided to the families of martyrs and veterans, war participants after the Patriotic War. Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullahyev highlighted fundamental changes and innovations in the field of education during 2003-2023.
Other speakers at the event, including Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs Bahar Muradova, Chairman of the Constitutional Court Farhad Abullayev provided an insight into the reforms of the relevant state institutions during the 20-year rule of President Ilham Aliyev.
Following the speeches, the event featured the screening of a documentary highlighting the 20-year presidency of Ilham Aliyev.
