Today, Azerbaijan’s election legislation does not fall behind the legislation of the world's leading countries for its democracy, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan- Head of the Department for Territorial and Organizational Issues of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Zeynal Naghdaliyev said at the meeting for the chairmen of the district election commissions at the Central Election Commission, APA reports.
He said that, Azerbaijan has gone further in every phase in the direction of holding elections: “Serious assignments are given regarding making the election process more transparent and not letting violations of law.”
