"We must pass on the cultural heritage of the peoples of Turkic world to future generations," the General Secretary of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Kubanychbek Omuraliev told journalists as he delivered a speech at the conference titled "Study and Preservation of the Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Turkic World from the perspective of UNESCO" held at ADA University, APA reports.
He underlined that the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation located in Baku, as well as the International Turkish Academy and TURKSOY are significant organizations.
"We will begin compiling our own list of cultural heritage. According to the results of today's conference, works will be started in the direction of compiling the list of the heritage of the Turkic world in the purposeful manned," the head of OTS added.
