"During the 30 years of the occupation period, Armenians have created about 15 historical-cultural museums by stealing from houses of cultural heritage and culturally-historically important centers in the territory of Garabagh," Ph.D. in Art Studies, employee of the scientific department of the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art Telman Ibrahimov said during a panel discussion at the Cultural Heritage Forum held for the first time in Azerbaijan, APA reports.
"Weapons, carpets, copper utensils, and other similar historical samples were later written on with Armenian inscriptions, and attempts were made to Armenianize them. This means that during these 30 years, a large amount of displacement and falsification of our cultural heritage has taken place," he added.
Telman Ibrahimov has also drawn attention to Armenians conducting illegal archeological excavations in the territory of Garabagh.
