Singers giving a concert in Israel on the 16th anniversary of Khojali tragedy not to be allowed to the official events

â€œThese singers are not working for the offices of Ministry of Culture and Tourism and their visit was not sponsored by the governmentâ€ said Lalayev voicing the ministryâ€™s official attitude. â€œWe regret about this fact and judge their action as a strange attitude to the national tragedy and historyâ€. A.Lalayev said that when he was informed about the concert plans on February 26, he gave notice for Ruhangiz Allahverdiyeva that entertainment programs and musical performances were unacceptable in the days of national mourning. â€œI could speak with young singers too but I didnâ€™t, because Ruhangiz Allahverdiyeva is an honored artist, she is Azerbaijani mother and woman. I tried to stop them. It is interesting that Ruhangiz Allahverdiyeva assured me that they had no such plans. However, their words were contradicted by their own actions. They preferred personal interests than national-spiritual ones. Singers playing with public feelings demonstrated disrespect to the national cultural policy, to the written and unwritten laws of our country. These singers are facing with the peopleâ€™s condemnationâ€. The ministryâ€™s official said these singers would not be involved in the concert programs organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism either.
