The commissioning of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line following its modernization will make a significant contribution to the prosperity of the participating countries, Türkiye’s Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu told journalists, APA's local bureau reports.
According to the minister, the project was implemented through the determination demonstrated by the leaders of Türkiye, Azerbaijan and Georgia.
He noted that considering the difficulties recently faced by maritime and waterway corridors around the world, it is possible to better understand how valuable the Middle Corridor is.
