Turkish State Railways Chairman: Connection of Zangezur Corridor to Kars may be sign of us becoming single state in future

"With the opening of the Zangezur Corridor, the path will open for Azerbaijan, and Türkiye to directly meet and mutually transport the goods they need via the corridor, rather than through other countries," Ufuk Yalchin, the General Director and Chairman of the Board of the Turkish State Railways’ "TCDD Taşımacılık" company, told APA-Economics.

"In the coming times, the connection of the Zangezur Corridor to Kars, along with recent developments, is a sign of the more effective and faster processes that will lead to Azerbaijan and Türkiye to emerge as a single state. We will experience this together. There are also political perspectives and statements from other states regarding this. However, we will continue to break down the borders between us and our brotherly Azerbaijan, elevating our unity to a higher level. That is what the Zangezur Corridor signifies," U. Yalchin added.
