On November 25, a meeting of the General Assembly of the founders of the “Eurasian Transport Route” International Association was held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
The meeting, organized under Azerbaijan’s chairmanship, was attended by the management of the railway administrations of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan, which are members of the Association.
Rovshan Rustamov, Chairman of “Azerbaijan Railways” JSC (ADY), reported that the legal process for the registration of the “Eurasian Transport Route” International Association, headquartered in Baku, has been completed, and the Association has been successfully registered in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
At the event, necessary measures for the commencement of the Association’s activities were discussed. Following the discussions, the agenda issues— the corporate structure of the Association, the structure of its Secretariat and working bodies, the planned measures for organizing the Association’s activities, and other matters — were approved.
