In January-November of last year, the volume of cargo transported in transport corridors passing through the territory of Azerbaijan amounted to 30,254.8 thousand tons, which is an increase of about 1% in annual comparison, the State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics.
13,906.7 thousand tons or 46.0 percent of the cargo was transported by rail, 9,105.4 thousand tons or 30.1% by road, and 7,242.7 thousand tons or 23.9% by sea.
It is noted that 57% or 17,245.6 thousand tons of cargo transported through the corridors during the reporting period were transit cargo.
