In January-October of 2024, the volume of cargo transported through transportation corridors passing through the territory of Azerbaijan amounted to 27 455,9 thousand tons, which means an increase of 0,33%, the State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics
During the reporting period, 12 612,9 thousand tons, or 45,9% of the cargo were transported by rail, 8 208,2 thousand tons, or 29,9%, by road, and 6 634,8 thousand tons, or 24,2%, were transported by sea.
According to the data, 57,5% of the cargo transported through the corridors, or 15 799,3 thousand tons, were transit cargo.
