A roadmap will be developed in Azerbaijan to identify opportunities for applying next-generation technologies (artificial intelligence, robotics, etc.) in the economy, as well as for digitalization and adaptation, APA-Economics reports.
This initiative is reflected in the “Strategy for the Development of the Digital Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026–2029.”
According to the document, opportunities for applying next-generation technologies will be studied in two sectors of the economy, and a corresponding roadmap will be prepared. Based on this roadmap, four pilot projects will be implemented. It is planned that operational efficiency in sectors where next-generation technologies are applied will increase by at least 5–10 percent.
