The construction of the Horadiz-Aghband railway is planned to be fully completed by the Azerbaijani state in 2026 in order to implement the Zangezur corridor, said Bakhtiyar Hajiyev, Head of the Public Relations Department of the Communication Department of Azerbaijan Railways (ADY), APA-Economics correspondent dispatched to Zangilan reports.
He said that 84 percent of the design work and 67 percent of the construction and installation work of the Horadiz-Aghband railway line have been completed.
Note that the total length of the Horadiz-Aghband railway line is 110.4 km (140.6 km including sidings), and the construction of Horadiz, Yukhari Marjanli, Shukurbayli, Soltanli, Gumlag, Hakari, Minjivan, Bartaz, and Aghband stations is planned along the route.
