It is planned to transport 1,000 container block trains per year from China within the framework of the Middle Corridor, Rovshan Rustamov, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, told journalists, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, 100 block trains are planned to pass through the mentioned corridor from China each month.
Rövşən Rüstəmov also noted that in the first eight months of this year, 212 block trains were sent from China via the Middle Corridor, and this figure is expected to reach 300 by the end of the year.
