The construction of the Aghdam–Khankendi railway line will be completed by the end of next year, Emin Huseynov, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend districts told APA.
According to him, construction of the mentioned railway line is currently underway.
Emin Huseynov noted that the Aghdam–Khankendi railway line will be completed by the end of next year.
Recall that the first passenger train on the Baku–Aghdam–Baku route, operated by Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY), a company under AZCON Holding, has arrived in Aghdam from the capital.
The train departed from Baku to Aghdam at 07:10 today and arrived in Aghdam at 11:53. Passengers will be able to use the Baku, Bilajari, Ujar, Laki, Yevlakh, Barda, Kocharli, Tezekend, and Aghdam stations along the route.
