Russia regrets Armenia’s decision to refuse accreditation to several Russian citizens for the elections to be held in June, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said during a briefing today, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
She stated that Moscow would take this into account in the future.
Zakharova stressed that Armenia had unofficially stated that the inclusion of several Russians in the list of observers for the parliamentary elections in June was undesirable.
The Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman also noted that Armenia has recently been systematically removing the phrase “Great Patriotic War” from CIS projects and documents.
