The initiative to transport enriched uranium from Iran to Russia remains on the table, said Maria Zakharova, the official spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, during a briefing held today, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
According to her, there have been no changes regarding this issue.
Zakharova stressed that Tehran has the right to decide whether to remove enriched uranium from the country.
The Foreign Ministry spokeswoman added that Russia hopes the US-Iran talks will allow the sides to take steps toward easing tensions.
