Yerevan does not intend to return its Ambassador to Minsk - Media

Yerevan does not intend to return its Ambassador Razmik Khumaryan to Minsk, sources told Sputnik Armenia, APA reports.

Khumaryan was summoned to Armenia for consultations back in June 2024. According to our information, he did not return to Belarus after that.

Note that on December 26, during the Eurasian Economic Union summit, a dispute arose between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who participated via videoconference, and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. The conflict arose after Pashinyan announced that Armenia's delegation would not attend the summit. Lukashenko responded by criticizing the Armenian leader, saying: "What's the problem here? Is Minsk that far? Is there no one who can bring you here? If needed, we will bring your delegation ourselves."
