The US does not accept and will never accept the annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation, US Secretary of Defense James Mattis said after a meeting with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Kyiv on Thursday, APA reported citing RBK.
According to him, US allies will continue to exert pressure on Russia, and such pressure should be imposed so that Moscow complies with the Minsk accords, as well as a number of other international agreements.
In turn, Poroshenko said he discussed with the US Secretary of Defense possible retaliatory measures against Russia.
