Ukraine plans to suspend the railway communication with Russia from July 1, the Kommersant daily reported with reference to a source close to the government.
“Ukraine is getting ready to suspend railway passenger service with Russia around July 1,” the source said.
The reason for this is transportation provided by Russian Railway from the zone of armed conflict in Donbas to Russia. At the moment, an electric train runs from Donetsk to Russia's Taganrog, the ticket price for which is 30 cents.
At the same time, Ukrzaliznytsia notes that final decision has not been taken yet.
