Uzbekistan is ready to join the "Peace Council" intended to be established to manage the Gaza Strip, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's press secretary, Sherzod Asadov, announced on his Telegram channel, APA reports.
“President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has received an official invitation from U.S. President Donald Trump to join an international initiative aimed at strengthening peace and resolving conflicts in the Middle East. The head of state sent a response letter to his American counterpart, expressing Uzbekistan’s readiness to join the ‘Peace Council’ as a founding state,” he said.
