An Uzbek student has been killed as a result of shooting at Brown University in the United State, APA reports, citing Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The ministry expressed condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, staff of Uzbekistan’s diplomatic missions in the United States are in constant contact with the student’s relatives and are cooperating with U.S. authorities on necessary matters.
It was reported that Mohammadaziz Umurzokov was a first-year student studying neurosurgery.
It should be noted that as a result of gunfire opened by a military serviceman at the university, two people were killed and nine others were injured.
