Russian President Vladimir Putin's Foreign Policy Aide Yury Ushakov said on Tuesday that Chinese President Xi Jinping could seek to organize a trilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and United States President Donald Trump during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, APA reports.
"Obviously, we will participate as planned. If the US President is there, I think the host of this event, Chairman Xi Jinping, will probably take some steps to possibly organize a trilateral meeting," Ushakov told Russian state media Vesti.
The APEC summit is scheduled to take place in Shenzhen, China, on November 18 and 19.
