US proposes moratorium on attacks on energy facilities in Russia and Ukraine

Russian-American talks on the settlement of Ukraine will begin soon, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said this at a press conference in Riyadh on the results of the Russia-US talks, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.

He noted that Washington has not yet appointed its representative for these talks.

Lavrov also said that the US has not seen any "three-step plan" for the settlement of Ukraine.

According to him, the American delegation in Riyadh called a certain plan for the settlement in Ukraine, allegedly presented to Poland by Trump's special envoy Keith Kellogg, fake.

Lavrov noted that the US has proposed a moratorium on attacks on energy facilities in Russia and Ukraine.

"Russia's goal is not to harm Ukraine's energy system. Russia has sensed the US's determination to "move forward" and Moscow shares the same opinion," the Russian Foreign Minister stressed.
