The United States and Armenia are moving from agreement to action on critical minerals and advancing the implementation of the US-Armenia Critical Minerals Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), APA reports.
Paul Hueper, Director of Energy Supply Chains at the US State Department’s Bureau of Economic, Energy, and Business Affairs, met with Armenian government, business and civil society representatives to identify needs and opportunities for US technical assistance in Armenia’s mining sector.
“Together, we are building secure, diversified critical-minerals supply chains – and advancing prosperity through the US-Armenia Strategic Partnership,” the US Embassy in Armenia said on X.
