Ukrainian forces targeted the Syzran Oil Refinery in Russia's Samara Oblast and an Ozon warehouse in Taganrog overnight on Sept. 15, monitoring channels and authorities report.
Fires ignited at several different points within the complex after the site was hit by Ukrainian drones, according to Telegram channel Exilenova Plus.
Samara Oblast Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev later said that over 40 Ukrainian drones were shot down over the region's territory.
An industrial site was damaged, and windows were shattered in several residential buildings, Fedorishchev said.
Meanwhile, in southern Russia's Taganrog, Ukrainian missiles struck a warehouse belonging to major Russian online retailer Ozon, Rostov Oblast Governor Yuri Slyusar reported.
Windows were shattered in two residential buildings. Another three homes were damaged, as well as an educational institution, gas pipeline, commercial building, a grocery store, and warehouses belonging to an agricultural company, he said.
