Ukrainian army uses drones to hit major oil refinery, ship, and oil base in Russia

The Ukrainian army has struck strategic facilities of the Russian military-industrial complex and oil refining sector, including an oil base and an oil refinery in the Krasnodar region, APA reports, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces posted on the Telegram channel, APA reports.

"Units of the Defense Forces struck the infrastructure of the Slavyansky oil refinery in the city of Slavyansk-na-Kubani, Krasnodar region, Russia," the General Staff said.

Explosions and a fire were recorded in the target area.

According to the information, the Slavyansky plant processes approximately 5.2 million tons of crude oil and condensate per year and participates in the supply of the Russian army.

In addition, it was confirmed that the Nikolayevskaya oil base in the Rostov region was hit. According to preliminary information, a reservoir and a river ship named "Captain Gibert" were damaged.

A field artillery depot was also hit in the territory of the Luhansk region.
