Ukraine is ready to implement a ceasefire on attacks against energy facilities and is awaiting a specific list of facilities from Russia to agree on the details, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Heorhii Tykhyi stated during a briefing on the energy ceasefire, RBC-Ukraine said, APA reports.
The Foreign Ministry representative noted that Ukraine's position on a possible energy ceasefire had previously been outlined by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to him, Ukraine itself has long proposed implementing such a ceasefire. Tykhyi stated that this arrangement must be fair and cover the necessary sectors.
"If the Russians are seriously ready for this, let them provide a list of facilities and clarify the details. We are waiting for this. We would like Russia to demonstrate that it is also ready for this de-escalation. I think that in that case, it will be possible to resolve all issues," Tykhyi emphasized.
