Two new powerful explosions have occurred at the ammo depot near Achinsk, Krasnoyarsk Region in Russia’s Siberia, a source in the emergency services of the region told, APA reports citing TASS.
"There were two powerful explosions. The town [where the military are stationed] saw windows partially smashed in, as well as in Kamenka village [near the depot]," the source said.
The source also said that fire has resumed at the ammo depot.
"The fire resumed after new explosions. It is being put out now," the source said.
Five people have been injured in new explosions, chief physician of the Achinsk Inter-district hospital Denis Lebedev said
"Yes, there are five injured [persons]. One [will be treated] on an ambulatory basis, it is an elderly woman. Four are in moderate condition, two police officers and two servicemen," he said.
