Two people have been killed as a result of a Ukrainian drone attack on Russia’s Tuapse city, said Krasnodar region governor Venyamin Kondratyev, APA’s Russia bureau reports.
According to him, the number of those injured in the UAV attack has reached seven.
A state of emergency has been declared in the Tuapse district. Drone debris damaged 24 private houses and six apartment buildings, as well as two educational institutions and a music school.
The overnight drone attack also affected other coastal cities in the region. In Sochi, UAV fragments damaged two private houses and one apartment building. A kindergarten building in Dagomys was also damaged. The area has been cordoned off, and children have been relocated to another building of the institution.
In Novorossiysk, drone debris struck a civilian vessel, and the fire was quickly extinguished. One person was injured and taken to a hospital in Novorossiysk.

Two children aged 5 and 14 were killed as a result of Ukrainian army strikes on residential buildings in Russia’s Tuapse, APA reports.
According to preliminary information, two more people were injured in the incident.
It was reported that five private houses and one residential building were damaged in the city. Debris from one of the downed UAVs fell onto the territory of enterprises near the seaport.
Ukrainian UAVs were also reportedly spotted in the skies over Anapa, Gelendzhik, and Sochi.
