Two Chechen children were on board the plane that crashed near the city of Aktau, Kazakhstan, a representative of the Children's Ombudsman of Chechnya said, APA's Russia bureau reports.
The representative stated that the fate of one of the Chechen children remains unknown.
Note that an Azerbaijan Airlines aircraft performing flight J2-8243 from Baku to Grozny, an Embraer 190 airplane, crashed 3 km near the city of Aktau. There were 67 passengers and 5 crew members on board.
