Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has met with Secretary of the Russian Security Council Sergey Shoigu, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
The meeting focused on strengthening security.
Shoigu stated that Moscow and Ankara had done everything possible to ensure the implementation of the 2022 Istanbul agreements on Ukraine, but that the West had disrupted them: "The Istanbul agreements were developed jointly at the time. Had it not been for Western interference, we would have had every opportunity to complete this work."
Shoigu accused UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres of undermining the Black Sea Grain Initiative: "The only third participant in the agreements failed to fulfill the obligations it had undertaken. I mean the UN and Mr. Antonio Guterres."
He stressed that Russia and Türkiye, for their part, had fully fulfilled their obligations.
