A private helicopter has gone missing in Russia’s Amur region, APA reports.
According to preliminary information, contact has been lost with a Robinson R44 helicopter that took off from a logging site near the village of Amaranka.
It is reported that there were four people on board the helicopter. No information has yet been obtained about its whereabouts.
A special team and rescuers from the Main Directorate of Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Amur region have been dispatched to the scene.
A total of 36 personnel and 12 units of equipment, including three snowmobiles and one unmanned aerial vehicle, have been involved in the search operations.
